CT Again.......

Post by Chalk »

Was fishing the other night.....Tom caught one and had a few hits on CT..SO, I thought I'd give it a whirl....Fishing CTs at nite....Think about that...You had to fish it tight lined.....Anyhow....noticed Toms Victimizer was making a good amount of racket and my standard issue Cajun Thunder wasn't making much racket at all....(If you ever fish with me you will notice I generally snatch the crap out my CTs while working them) Anyhow, I was thinking to myself, I need to get one of them vitimizers  .....Got to cleaning up my reels yesterday and thought about how my CT wasn't performing as usual. I looked at it and low and be hold, I had succesfully driven the metal ferrule (the clack making part) half way up the cork. The morale of this story is , if your thang ain't making no racket, check it.....

Actually I was using the standard CT. But, I was using a stiff rod and power pro. That way I can get maximum pop out of it.
