Here are the pics from the second day of the trip. Sorry the story isn't any better. Just some pics of TC's and my first permit. Enjoy.

If you want to partake in a wonderful trip like we had, please contact Capt. Tom Stephens at topnotchfishing.com. You won't regret it.

My permit. 23 lbs on the scale. Took about 15 minutes to land.

I enjoyed it too, partner. Did you release that giant bird you brought back? If so, let me know what area you released it. I'll go the other way.
What was I supposed to do today?

WOW what a bird :o Beautiful.

Great fish pics. Know you and TC had a really great time. What is the limit for permit? (I could look it up but it's easier to ask you!) How far out did you go to get them?

My daughter is arranging a permit trip for me in the next couple of weeks - I'm really excited about it - it'll be out of Anna Marie Island. Hopefully I'll catch my first one too.

The limit is the same as pompano.

Down where you will be you will catch them on the offshore reefs and wrecks. 30 feet or deeper.

Bumping this back up for those who missed it. Thanks go to Capt. Tom for donating a trip to the Social this year. If you have the chance to book him, I highly recommend it.
