Smallest trout.....

Whats the smallest trout you have caught? Caught one the other week with CSM while fishing for bait about 5 inches.....

6" at St. Marks this summer, had a 3" pinfish stuck in his throat.. Don't think he made it.

About 6", the bait was almost as big as him..

Hypothetically speaking; if you caught a 6" trout that you thought was mortally wounded, would it be unethical to pin him on a kahle hook and toss him back out to verify that gator trout are indeed cannibalistic?

The "gator" in the picture is not really my smallest, that one was 30 inches, I have a least one at 28 inches. :wink: Like to make the point that my arms are not extended for the "bigger" effect in the picture either. :thumbup:

It's the sidways stance that throws the picture out of
proportion. :thumbup: :roll: Don't know bout my shoulders, but my head is 7 1/2 inches if you want to do the measuring. :thumbup: :thumbup:
