Took three boats and five lure anglers 6 hours North West to fish Lake Windermere for Pike,

we arrived at our fishing lodge on the shoreline to be greeted by snow on the mountains and bright a sunny sky, we launched the boats and within 2 hours the weather had changed to windy wet conditions,

four experienced lure anglers

and me

fished all day for the full five days that we were staying, but could only manage four small pike between us, we located fish sitting in 20ft of water but with the water temperature showing at 41f. they were not chasing down any baits, we tried every trick we knew from trolling large bulldawgs, to medium hard and soft crank baits, we varied the depths and slowed the baits down to as slow as possible, I even tried moving tiny grub tails and flukes over their noses but, they had us beaten,

I was hoping to post you guys some pictures of nice fish, but, these are the best I could do
