Oyster Bay March 9, 2008

Post by jsuber »

Went out with Josh from TNT hideaway around 10:00 with a little wind around 10-15 mph but water was laid down pretty good. Paddled over towards Spring Creek, around Gull island and back into Oyster Bay cut. Picked up three trout. Water was tainted in color and was 62 deg F. Salinity must be pretty low as even the dolphins were looking hard for somehting to eat. Caught all the trout on a dark paddle tail with 1/4 RED DOA jighead. I took one picture of Josh with my new phone, while he is talking on the phone, in one of my two new kayaks.

Anyway, can't wait to fish later this week.

I hate fishing stained water. The bite can be better, but it's just not as pretty. :-D
