Lanark 3-10

Post by culrich »

Im on spring break for the week so i was able to get out for a few hours yesterday. Me and a buddy got to Lanark about 11:30 to catch the incoming tide. We ran to the usual bars that I fish and luckily there was a school of 30 or so reds soaking up some sun.We pulled 4 reds out of the group in about 30 min. The fish all scattered so we decided to go catch some trout while they regrouped. Ran to a spot that has produced nice fish lately, we were not let down. We caught 30-40 small trout in the next hour. Ran back to the reds but no one was home. Called it a day around 4:00.

Tally
Tons of small trout only a couple over 20''
4 reds

Sounds like you had a hell of a day. Are we considering small trout anything under 20"? If so, I'm headed West. Congrats on a good day of fishing.
