Oyster Bay 3-12

Post by Talltails »

Suber and I paddled out after work. The wind was whipping at an unforcasted 20+ knots out of the west. After a futile 45 minutes of fishing, we decided to call it a day. As we were paddling in and munching on some sour grapes, Suber threw a "last cast" with a gold spoon. One hungry fish picked it up and a minute later Suber caught and released a nice 25" trout. It's funny how one fish can make up for a bad trip.

Why didn't you take a picture of the 25" trout instead of the one in the picture?
