This was another combo work / fish trip.
Dad and I road down for the inspections on the Condos I sold last week.
Here is Pop and Steve- My favorite home inspector and a generally great guy.
He is SUPER DETAIL ORIENTED!
Image
Dad and I left Steve do his job and we put the boat in and ran out over calm water to the spot we caught all the trout last week.
Image
NO TROUT... could not buy a bite. The water temp was about 6 degrees less than last time.
So we went exploring and found some good looking oyster bars.
Dad got the first fish of the day...
Image

Then I got my first red...
Image
Then my first keeper
Image
Then dad caught one- didn't get a photo of the fish but here he is just as he hooked up...
Image
And a goofy self portrait of me and another one...
Image

We got a call from Steve that he was done so we ran back to the condos to see what he found---
They were in great shape but... He almost electrocuted himself :o
Some one secured the electric panel in one of the units with pointed screws- rather than the blunt tips they ship a breaker panel with.
They ran a screw into one of the wires
It shorted out when he was taking the cover off. I made a few phone calls and the seller is sending another electrician out

Well then the wind started to HOWL... so much for the forecast that called for calm seas and a waining wind...
Dad and I locked up the condos and then rode up the river just to look around.
Image
Check out those flags- that wind was whipping!
Image
It was white capping in the bay so we pulled the boat out and headed home.

We finished with a quick stop at Hammerknockers in Crawfordville for some BBQ pork and Smoked wings :lick:
Man, I wish every work day could be like that!

Great day all the way around.

I wired a house last year and the people putting the hardi-board on drove three nails into the bus bar, it took nearly 2 hours to figure it out and another hour tearing it out and fixing it. :smt011
