PSJ 3-21

Post by BayGator »

Horrible conditions all day long with a steady NE wind at 15-20, full moon, no tide moving. I will never again be dupped into polling a boat for a fly fisherman again :-D :-D My arms feel like jello!! Only managed one red in the morning and he broke off at the boat in the trim tabs. Looked to be a 20-21" fish. Went to the canal and it looked like a parking lot past the overhead power lines so I stayed out of the madness and picked up a few small trout while waiting on what little tide there was to start falling. Headed back out into gale force winds to try and find a nice red. Drifted at 30 mph through the flats but managed to catch 4 fish. 3 at 20-22" and one pig at 27" and 8 lbs. according to the boga scale. Long windy day but was fun to be out anyway!

This guy was alot of fun at the end of the very slow day!
