Wildwood Inn has a special rate for the tournament. They blocked off 20 rooms with twin queen sized beds at $69.00 per night if you use the code FCKA. They have a restaraunt, bar, and golf course next door.

USE FCKA Code for $69.00 rate on March 26-29 2008. I recommend you call the front desk to make reservations and this is a nice Motel that is green guide freindly.

The spirit of this contest is to provide an environment for individuals with equal equipment to compete against each other in kayaks and canoes. When I fish against boats in my kayak I am assuming the risk of losing by handicaping myself. Maybe one weekend we will have a tournament where a boat and a kayak will be on a team and compete against other teams.

Mud, I bet Suber would let you compete if you left your outboard prop and trolling motor at home, and paddle your 24' kayak.
What was I supposed to do today?

Now that would be okay...... if I could use my airboat instead :smt005 I mean after all, no motor/prop touches the water with the airboat, just like with a Kayak :-D

As long as you turn that rop on your airboat with a hand crank.

You can use this if you take off the trolling motor and battery and paddle it.

Okay folks. We got a lot of prizes, with 5 kayaks, PFD's, paddles, and lots more stuff.

Hobie has donated a Hobie Revolution for the Longest Slam which is combined total length of a Flounder, Redfish, & Trout.
TNT Hideaway has donated a Heritage Redfish 12 for the Longest Redfish Division.
Sunjammers of Panama City has donated a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 160i for the longest Trout, and
Wilderness Way has donated a Tan Perception Search 15 witt rudder for the longest Flounder.

You can only win in one division. Except everyone is open for the Redfish Spot Division.

Redfish with the most spots on one side wins a Spot Messenger with a 1 year subscription to the service. In case of tie, longest Redfish wins. Still a tie goes to the Redfish that was checked in first.

38 Giftbags left and Wilderness Way has donated a Tan Perception Search 15 with Rudder for biggest Flounder. Word is there will be a Ride 135 donated and we will auction it off. Bidding will begin at $300.00 so bring your checkbook.
