Late Keaton 3/21 and 3/22 report

Post by Bow'd Up »

Me and li'l Bow'd put in the public ramp at Keaton around 2pm Friday and headed North. Managed to catch 4 shorts when BB showed up and we headed further in.BAAAAAAAAAM 19 inch trout in 1.5' of water on a new penny Gulp shrimp on a 1/4 oz jig head. Then the party ended and nothin. Fished around for a while, same area, throwed a heap of everything a them but no bites. Headed back to the hill and met up with CC, JT, Butch and a hell of a bunch of other Gents for one heck on a fish fry and socializin event. Man................we need to do that again.......you guys are top notch. Anyway, left at 0700 Saturday to try to win the tourney... Started chunkin a gold Redfin, picked up a heap of shorts and a 19 incher to put in the box. Then, just as the day before, nothin. Fished all the way past Rock Island throwing everything in our arsenal then back and nothin...............Shore glad to meet everyone.........it was well worth the trip.............

I think we all had a trouble (except the CC crew). You and lil' Bowed Up did good.
It was a great fish fry.

Thanks for the report Bow'd - hate that I missed the fishin fry, but what with the weather delay I couldn't make it for round 2. I need to see this cooker of yours.
