Scouting St. Joe Bay 3-30-08
Went searching for St. Joe Bay fish today with Warrior and Junior.
Left the city ramp about 9 a.m. went to the bridge. Pretty water real windy no fish.
Went across the bay to San Blas. More wind, pretty water.
Junior saw several schools of mullet. He told Warrior to get out the snatch hook. First cast landed right in the middle of the school. A good hard snatch resulted in a very fat hardhead catfish.
Cruised on down the beach looking for reds and trout. The more south and east we went the worse the wind. Got to the end of the bay and started across, fishing all the way.
BAM!! a bluefish. Oh,well.
Got up along 98 and picked up four trout. Saw a couple reds.
Fished all the way back to city ramp, saw another red.
On the trailer at 4 p.m.
It was a QueenB day. A whole lot of nothing.

Sounds like my trip down there last weekend, windy, and we saw zero redfish. At least you got out there. Maybe in a week or two they'll be ready.
Get your mind right

That surprises me.... With the talk about dredging is the water clouded up at all?
