Chris Chace got this one out of PC yestdy...He told me the cleaned carcass weighed 45lbs

That's a good one! They're starting to show up more frequently in the area with this warmer water.
My Dad fished with a friend out of St. Marks on Saturday and caught one about 50 lbs. on a spinning reel with a ML rod and 10 lb. test...
They were catching 14.5" trout in 8 feet of water near the second stake / pole when the Cobe hit and had to chase it with the boat after it ripped off about 100 yards of line. No pics though - they left the camera in the truck.
