Just filing a quick report . Put in around 9:30 am, headed east. Fished in close in about 3 to 4 feet of water. The bite was on and off, with it being mostly off by 3pm. We only got 1 keeper trout, quite a few in the 13 to 14.5 range.
Breezy all day with water temp starting out at 69, then rising to 71 by 4pm.
Highlight of the day was this fellow in the brown suit. My wife boated this guy, with him being just 3 inches shy of being dinner....
But in the end, the day ended nicely, with the wife and I having 2 nice fresh trout filets each....First fresh trout of the year
