What size and style of hooks for say cigar minnows and spanish sardines?

I have been using 7/0 or 8/0 heavy circle hooks. I think they are gamakatsu circle octopus, mainly because thats what the IGA carries in Carrabellle, but they seem to work well on grouper and AJs. 8)
