Econfina 4-3

Post by Dubble Trubble »

Just a quick report from today. Put in at 10:30 am, headed straight out the river and quickly caught 5 keeper trout. We figured since it was nice, we would go get a few grouper, then come back and finish out our limit. WRONG

Nothing on the groopas, and we came back in about 3 and worked hard to get just 2 more keepers before 5pm. Total 7 trout for the day.

Note to self: Don't leave biting fish.

Anyway, info wise, water temp was 75 to 77 inshore and 73 offshore at 30ft. Water was clear. We caught about 2 limits of short trout, with most of those being 14 63/64" long. :( Also caught one spanish around 18". Let him go back to grow some more.
