Post by ALLBEEF »

I wanted to carry my wife and kids down to Keaton this weekend - but what do ya'll think about the weather? Do the fish usually shut down if a front pushes through like they are saying?

Thanks

I don't care about the weather. My wife has given me the day off and I'm a goin fishn regardless. That is unless it's raining when I wake up. I'll probably go out of Aucilla around 7:30 or 8:00am and just stay close to the hill.

It was a GREAT DAY!! -- IF you were flying a kite!! -- Got to KBM around 9:30am - put boat in - first off my radio blew a fuse - decided to head out anyway - well we went out and I put my little girl on a bream buster with a piece of gulp and she wore out the pinfish - decided to head out to my trout hole - got soaked - motor died down to about 6 miles per hr. - we were close to ten miles from the dock  - my wife got sick  - headed back to the hill - took us nearly 2 hrs. - motor had fuel filter stopped up - I told my wife we should have stayed at the house. We'll try it again Friday and Sat.
