For a beautiful day on the water, this is the best that we could come up with. 3 trout, biggest being 19.5, 1 bluefish worth 200.00 courtesy of BB and Badcock, and 1 nice spanish. We fished hard all day, threw everything in the box at them and for all of you Gulp lovers, every thing that we caught was on a white Gulp shrimp. We left JBT and headed to Ecky, got in the water round 8am and headed west. Fished close to start off then moved to 4' of water and started catching fish bout 10:45. We caught 10 shorts and 3 keeper trout plus the spanish and blue between 10:45 and 1pm and the bite died. After that, nothing....Nada. Then saw this big arse black boat come screaming by. Twas the infamous BB and CT trying to put some trouts in the boat for the weigh in. After feeding BB some fresh trout and listening to his day on the water, sounds like he had one of the days where you can't do a dayum thing right. Hey, it happens. Anyways, enjoyed seeing everybody at the weigh in.
Congrats on the money for the blue hopefully it helped with the gas. We threw top and suspended plugs, but, everything we got to the boat was on a Gulp cherry swim shad.
