My wife's first turkey

Post by CairoTrout »

My wife and I decided to go hunting right after church today and man did it pay off. We arrived at a little honey hole on the river @ 2:00 and at 2:30 we had two gobblers dancing in front of us but one made a bad mistake and it was fatal. The bird weighed 19.4 pounds w/ an 11.75" beard and had 1.25" spurs. We really had a great and memorable hunt and will not soon be forgotten. :D
