Aucilla River 4/5/08

Post by flyboy »

"Woke last night to sound of thunder, how far off, I sat and wondered." I was awakend by thunder at 4:30am on Sat. It was raining by 5:00 and I was on the road by 5:45am in the mitts of an awsome thunderstorm. Launched the boat at about 7:30 into a white-capping Aucilla river. Fished as best I could out of a 16ft alluminum boat which doesn't like wind. Caught 2 short reds, had 2 break us off, and lost one at the boat. Slow day, mostly due to the wind I think. Had the boat back on the trailer around noon. Still beat the $&I# out of working.
