I broke out the Pink Lures and picked up a Red on Topwater Pink Skitterwalk, and another Red on a Pink Capt Mike Spoon weedless 1/4 oz and this trout on a Rootbeer DOA 1/8 Red DOA jighead. I was fishing in Dickerson Bay.
it never ceases to amaze me how much you love the color pink. isnt it one of those rules of manliness, "thou shalt not like pink more than your woman"?
Nice trip. I was also wondering about that new rod.
See you're not in the Perception.
As to the bailing jokes, I guess it's something to do after work
if trailing a boat to a launch takes too long to be able to actually fish.
On the court I'd be pointing at the scoreboard.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.
I like the new rod and will do a full report on it with the rod floating in the water with the reel on it, and talk about what I do and don't like about it. I basically just dislike the ring to secure it to to the yak, but that can easily be fixed. It catches fish and has 7 eyes that don't get hung up on Power Pro like the Terramar and Calcutta eyes do.
And that was my last trip in the Ride 135 before i sold it to pay my taxes.
Back when the trout wintered in the Aucilla, we caught a pile of trout on pink sink'in mirrolures. It was one of the best colors. My wife likes a big pink top dog, too. She's caught 2 very nice hawg trout on it.
