panama city 4/6

Post by GAJOEY »

A few friends went down to PC for few days and nights of partying and fishing before one of them gets married.:(Note to self): who do you think you are? trying to keep up with the young guys partying We were set to go out Saturday the 5th but the weather did not hold off.We decided to party one more night and go out Sunday.even tho the weather was still somewhat iffy being most of the guys had never been out before.Well we headed out at about 6:00 am in pretty rough seas 2 to 4s at times they were 4 to 6s which beat us pretty good all day.I thought the fishing would be great but ..I was a little disapointed.it seemed all the big fish had lock jaw..We hit the first spot in about 150 ft caught several b-liners and pink mouths maybe one AJ no size to speak of..We Moved on to another spot and the bachelor caught a 15lb red grouper which was the best of the day.moved about 4 or 5 more times picked up a few more AJs and more beeliners .Threw back 15 or 20 keeper pretty red snappers which hurt pretty bad.All in all it was a great day. The bachelor had fun one last time before the funeral.
total for the day
6 triggers
1 red grouper
9 AJs
tons of b-liners
tons of pink mouths
15 white snappers
hangovers to remember for a while
