On Fri. James and I fished the Creeks west of tripod. We went out at 8a and back by 5:30. We caught 10 Reds, kep 2 - 26". Very few trout in the creeks this trip. We caught 8, kep 5. One Sheephead, several cats and rays. Best Reds came on rootbeer gulp. We anchored at several (4) different holes, and then James would fish a shrimp on a 1/4 oz red jig (naked), and he out fished the gulp two to one. This was a great day fish'n with my best Florida friend James. BTW that Sheephead was my first, and they are great eat'n.

Econfina Thru & Fri
On Thur. I went alone and fished 3-4' of water 1 mile off the River Entrance Tripod. Lots of little trout. Two legal fish. I used a rootbeer/char. "Gambler" tail on red jig head. I had to switch from 1/4oz to 1/2 to keep it down. Was on the water from 3-5pm. I noticed a boat coming up on me pretty fast, and then saw that it was Fish & Game. He looked at my fish(size), but did not measure. I showed him my license, and we had a breif chat then off they went.
