Got out for about three hours yesterday afternoon. Left the house around 11:30 and arrived at the lighthouse about 12:15. My Hewes is in the shop getting a new seat, last week while trailering to Lanark the back came unsnapped and flew up. Some wind must have got under the bench seat and blown it out. So, I was in the duck boat which is a 14 foot jon boat wit a go-devil on the back. I was huntin for reds so i headed to my favorite creek with a massive bar right in the middle. I stopped 75 yards before reaching the creek to pole in. As soon as I reached the creek I saw 50 or so fish pushing in between the bar and the shoreline. I was throwing a captain mike PINK spoon, thanks Suber . Caught 10 reds in the next two hours. Reds went from 22-32 inches. Back at the ramp about 3:00.
