BB...did you really put in at Carrabelle and run all the way to Ecofina to fish???? :o
No buddy, our dumbazzez put in at St george, behind the island to get away from the south west wind.Figured that was the best gameplan. Great idea but water clarity was an issue. I was sitting in less than 18 inches of water over a bar and couldnt see it. I ran a gold and orange 2000 beside the boat just under the surface and I couldnt see it. we then decided if we were to catch anything, a quick ROAD trip was in order to Ecofina. That was the closest place to where we were that I thought we may have some chance at decent water. Not a stellar day but enjoyed the day with my fishing partner and we ate a helk of a lot better than everybody else!!!

Good to meet you too, Chalk. I checked out your boat in the parking lot. Pretty dang sweet!!! Glad you fellas got into them a bit for the weather. We spent the day chasing our tails. I d be surprised if CT wants to fish with me next tourney. Thats two in a row Ive humped the monkey on. About the golf, If I dont pull out of this slump Ive been in, i might as well...... :smt009

Low tide, big boat. Water from st George to Mashes Sands looked like it came out of a rusty pipe. I may not know as much about everything as you do MD, but I do know the water from Destin to Steinhatchee pretty darn well. 8) Oh and why would you call me sensitive??? :-D

It ain't all of my knowledge, go back and check the fishing reports. I think there was one from Lanark on Thursday or Friday. I looked at the water there on my way back from the Cape Monday morning and it was looking good. OH and I have been fishing all of those waters for about 20 years before you were born...back when men were man and fish were thick :smt004

MD, Im 35. Lanark is the first place I ever learned. I like Lanark, just not my favorite anymore. Its often real good early and late, not in the middle of the day when there are huge winds blowing and dog island cut looks like Deadliest Catch. Made a decision and stuck to it. Didnt get in the fish, it happens. By the way, do you actually fish or just talk about it? Ive never seen a fishing report from you. Just wondering. :-D

If you haven't seen a fishing report from me, you need to get glasses. However, back when I was a young single man and life was all about doing what I wanted to do, I fished like you...well not quite like you, I had more girlfriends to tend to back then than you seem to have. Now that I am older and I have children and a deep commitment to making life better for youth, I don't get to fish as much. I now find working and spending more time doing things for others more fulfilling and I hope you do so when you get older. So wonder no more. :-D

I commend your commitments for better youth and not to get in a pissing match with you about who does what, but I was nominated for man of the year at age 32, mostly from my work with kids and less fortunate members of Cook County. I organized the original Toys for Cook Kids and still work with two or three other people to make it happen each year. Small business of the year more times than I can count in several counties, work intensively with Greater Cook Co boys and girls club financially and physically. I am a Super Hornet in every sport as well as matching funds for cheerleading , the quiz bowl team, and the theatre company at the high school. I fund most of the Cook Terrific kids program as well as the majority of the Kiwanis Club of Adel scholarships. I dont do much in the way of golf tourneys or other adult activities EXCEPT the Mystery fish for the NFGFC, simply because I can see it going places and being able to one day help the kids. Challenge my fishing, challenge my college team, challenge my whatever that really doesnt matter that you want, i laugh at your blind ignorance. You challenge the way I live my life and how I work each day to make someone less fortunate than me's life better, You and I got problems bud. I didnt get the paved road you obviously got coming up. I kind of had the dirt road, but thats cool , it lets me not forget where I came from and makes me want to help young people who cant choose the cards theyre dealt. You want to get in a pissing contest about community service and working with kids, whip it out hoss and we'll see who measures up!! Oh and just because I dont talk about girls on this website doesnt mean Im a wallflower. Next time you make it by SGO, ask old Heafus about the chicks I date, he descibes then as supermodels :smt004 And as far as finding work fulfilling, lets not go there. I think I ve built a pretty impressive resume in my first ten years of business. Your comments have made me to bring up a lot of things I do and most of them as anonymous as possible. I dont have to be "older" to try and make things better for others, Ive been doing it my entire life. You see my mom's a community servant, kind of runs in the family.... All that and I still make time to go fish!!

BB, I was just pulling your chain and it seems I pulled it hard. :smt005 I applaud your activities. They are impressive for a man your age. Not going to aggrandize myself on this board listing my activities, but lets go fishing one day and I'll share my resume of youth activities. It seems we have much in common other than your poor choice of football teams :-D
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!
