Hook Help
I've got several top water, suspending and diving plugs that need some hooks, anybody got some ideas? The lures are mainly Bita-A-Baits and Mirrolures. Any particular brand?
Thanks for the help.

True, but decent trebles are not easy to find around here in enough sizes.Tom Keels wrote:Gamakatsu.
Spro split rings.
I like to carry lures with me to match up or I need a lot of info if I'm ordering on-line.
This site helps a whole lot on identifying actual sizes of the originals:

Re: Hook Help
Seems like months ago, someone posted a chart or some info on the exact mfg and model number of hooks for a particular lure...I looked but couldn't find it...Usually I earmark something like this for future reference but I didn't this one....

It certainly isn't the first time I've been completely misunderstood. Or any fresh water hook. Remember you want them to be Sticky Sharpe.
If we were all crazy, Wouldn't that make us all normal.
Re: Hook Help
You can get replacement Gamakatsu trebbles at Kevins in 4,6 or 8. Appropriate sizes for the bite-a-bait and mirrolures. Pull a plug off the shelf and walk over to the hook isle with it to compare sizes.
Re: Hook Help
I tried Gamakatsu EWG trebles on some crankbaits for largemouth bass several years ago. They work real well. It's a little tougher to hook a fish on the EWGs, but once she's on you're gonna' need pliers to get her off.
