My brother(flounderpounder) and I fished after work on Tuesday. The wind had the bay all blown out from the south. There was a ripping good tide, however, and the reds were pretty frisky. After catching a few reds, I spotted a CT floating and occasionaly disappearing near a bar. Now anyone that has ever come across this scenario knows what a dicey situation it can be. I've spent the better part of 30 minutes before casting at one of these only to eventually find a foul hooked mullet on the other end. Liam, however, on the first cast was able to intercept the float and reel it in. This one had a 22" trout on the other end. After the experience it had, we felt the trout deserved better than the darkside of a dirty cooler, and quickly released it. After a pretty good laugh, we started fishing and catching again. We put several more reds in the boat before calling it a day.--Living the good life in Wakulla County.
