National Forest 4/23

Post by striperguy17 »

Got out of my last final yesterday and decided to hit the water. Waited until my roomate got out of his and headed down to the national forest to do some bass fishing. Were out there for an hour / hour and a half and caught one bass on a motor oil worm. Probably 12" and around a pound. That was it for the action for the day but still nice to get out. Might head up to Lake Jackson this evening.

theres a whole bunch of ponds back there. The best ones are off the beaten path and you got to get a little wet. See very few gators down there and wade pretty comfortably. No big fish but not bad for numbers.
