I'll choose Towboat US every time. Captain John West is always 'on-call" and can assist you within an hour, but most of the time less than 30 minutes. Captain West is always there when I need them. In mid summer he anchors out by the bird rack, and there is never a sea tow vessel in sight.

I'm with TowBoat U.S.
I see that guy everywhere on the weekends and he is right at shields so it won't take long for him to get out there

I will chime in here and say that SeaTow is out at the lighthouse or in the area most of the time unless we are on a call. Our boat is kept at Panacea Harbor to cut down our run times on offshore calls and inshore calls around Ock Bay, Oyster Bay, and Shell Point, but we are usually around the bird rack or near vicinity. I know John West of Towboat US and he is a good guy. He and I actually help each other out relaying radio calls, etc. to provide the best possible service for our individual customers. Like everything else, this is a personal choice. Capt. Joel of SeaTow has tried to do alot for NFGFC and BBF offering discounts and donating free memerships and prizes for raffles. SeaTow tries to support the local organizations as much as possible. Ask yourself how much that means to you.

We appreciate all of your hard work and the support both yourself and Capt. Joel give NFGFC and BBF.

Sea Tow keeps a boat at Keaton Beach which is just up the shoreline from Rock Island.

OK maybe it might be a good idea for me to think of this as i am runnning a 22 year old boat fresh out of a pasture where it had been for several years.how much does a "subscription "cost ?couldnt afford a newer boat at this time but might want to think about this.
