This weekends weather looks like it may shape up and be pretty good. Saturday should be the 3rd day after a cold front so the winds should be light (crossed fingers).

Would anyone be interested in doing a flotilla out of St. Marks for grouper and whatever?

I know a lot of us have smaller boats and shouldn't venture offshore alone. We can take this opportunity to all be out togther within radio range just in case.

For those guys that want to fish inshore, you can fish the rivers for trout and reds.

We can leave from the Fort or from Shields, or if anyone is so inclined we could go out of Mashes Sands also. I'm up for suggestions.

We have done this before with guys from the club and its always a lot of fun, and it puts your mind at ease knowing you have 4 or 5 buddies within a couple of miles of you.

Post here if you are interested or have any suggestions.

I'm suppose to shot some skeet, Saturday. Anyone have a good recipe  ....Though I might (wife work related thingy) be able to bow out gracefully.....If able I could be a deck hand or a master baiter :o or just fish inshore in my puddle jumper.....

Tom, I would be interested and can take my big boat 21' Wellcraft. I can take three easy, four is a bit crowded. We bought the boat this summer to grouper fish but have been enjoying the flats and have not gone out yet. I have all the published numbers in my GPS and would welcome the oppertunity to take someone who has a little expierience. Let me know

Thanks GG. Just check back here often. We'll start finalizing rides and such later in the week when we can judge the weather better.

If anyone needs a crewmember, email me or gimme a PM
Inshore/offshore, either way is great

I am fishing on Friday from shore (I hope) so I might come through with some nice grouper bait

Hate I'm gonna miss this one if you go. Have obligated myself to probably more then I can chew this weekend out of town. If the weather holds next weekend I'd be willing. December 21 was a good day last year.

10:30 Update

Saturday
WEST WIND 20 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET. PROTECTED WATERS CHOPPY.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

This is not looking good for Saturday. Who's up for meeting somewhere for beer and oysters if it doesn't work out?

We'll still make the final call at the 4:30 update on Friday.
