Left work early to try some mid week Grouper trolling out by marker 24 with a new fishing Buddy and his girlfriend, both newbies. Seas were a choppy 2" so we could run about 30 mph and made it out in no time. Started trolling in 24ft with magnum firetiger and a stretch25 char/green. First bite was a double hookup one at 27" and the other at 24", circled back around and pulled up a nice 25"er. Made one more circle and got another double at 25" and just short. was about to circle for another pass when I see some yahoo trying to mark my spot so I keep going straight :smt012 Troll on over to another hole while yahoo is off in distance watching us, my ploy works and they soon speed off  Get to next hole bout 15mins later and fish on. Another 27" in the box but by now the bite had slowed and only manage two more keepers trolling so we anchor up. Only managed shorts, KWGrunts and rockies. Probably a good thing I was run off first spot as with my lack of recent sucess, I would of trolled it to a barren wasteland. :smt007 I love this stuff and I dont give a damn how much gas costs, I'm gonna do it as often as weather and work permits

Great Pictures! Love to hear others troll like we do. I have a question about the "pinfish stretch" . Do you use it much and do you catch fish often on it? How deep does it run and how fast do you troll it. We have one but havent used it much cause it doesnt troll very straight and havent caught anything on it. :(

Any help you can give me will be appreciated! :smt006

The Stretch was'nt mine, the newbies bought it at wally world the night before and insisted on using it. it did OK at 4mph, any faster and it did'nt track straight. CD-18's hooked up 3-1 over it and overall caught the larger fish. Ive got six or seven stretches that I have'nt even taken out the box since I started using the Rapalas and prob wont go back

thanks for the info. I have been using xrap rapalas 30s last fishing trip and they did better than all of my stretches or rap 25s.
