What a bunch of DA's. First off who in the hell wants to catch 900 snapper, after the 487th fish I would probably want to do something else. Second, who the hell wants to clean 900 snapper?? 45 fish per person is just uncalled for. I dont know what the penalty is for such a flagrant violation but it probably is'nt stiff enough. Just makes me sick. What ever happened to sportsmanship, something to which these a-holes don't have a clue. Messes it all up for the honest man. Aught to revoke every one of their fishing priveleges for LIFE!

Here is my best guess they would sell most of the fish pay for the trip and keep a few for the table.

The culprit is the Captain and deckhand that really new better.

If they were a comercial boat they would be legal.

The only reason other than shorts or closure was they were recreational fisherman.

I don't get why we can only keep a couple and the comercial guy is still legal with 1000 lbs of Grouper or Snapper.

It has to suck for the charter Captains lower limits higher fuel but we are the ones that fuel the economy not the comercial guy.

Totally dumb folks! Did you look at the ages on most of these people? They may have thought it was going to be their last trip. After sentencing it may be. And please Bay Gator, quit grouping all Ga guys into the Deer hunters/fishermen category. A lot of us don't even deer hunt, plus we don't even know these nuts. I guess Florida is a nut free state!

There out now. No harm intended. Just seems like everybody in Ga is referred to, by the Florida folks, as "them Ga deer hunters" and I dodge plenty but have never hunted any. Relax folks, we all know GA is a great place to hunt, and FL has some kind of good fishing. I don't think we need to put up a fence just yet. Besides, I am still saving my money to go to GA one day.

That group in the news falls into the 5% group. You know the ones. In every group, 5% of the people will screw it up for the other 95%. It is just rare to see that many of them on the same boat at the same time
