Lanark 5/12

Post by noleflyfisher »

Reel Slow and I planned to fish today but we made a decision late last night to stay on the hill due to the wind. Well, needless to say, I awoke this morning and the wind didn't seem too bad so I hitched her up and headed for points south. On at 10:30, off at 4:30. Found quite a few cooperative fish in all the usual Spring time haunts. Most of the fish were over white sand which made for some spectacular eats. Ended the day with a dozen or so fish ranging from 20 to 27 inches. A great day considering the limited water exchange.
