We've added a link to the NFGFC website with information about the event and a sign-up sheet. Please go to the link below to learn more about the event.

http://www.nfgfc.org/hha/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

John McBride will be at the meeting tomorrow night to speak about the event. I'll also be bringing hard copies in case some of you would rather sign up at the meeting.

Thanks everyone!

:thumbup: You know I'm in, Casey & Steve! I'm working hard trying to get my boat out of dry dock...lot's of repairs and updates. It should be ready by June. :D I will try to have my son, Tommy, as First Mate, and can handle one wheelchair & a guest or helper on the Miss Courtney. Keep me in the loop and I'll see you guys at the next NFGFC meeting (I don't want to miss the "flounder report", as well as refresh my membership). :lick:

Casey, rather than assume, I'll ask that you verify that I'm one of the 25. I signed up (per instructions) on the Club site but as of today there are only 3 on the "skipper list". It would seem that this forum is a more active vehicle for information on the HHA event.

Sir Reel,

This is probably the easiest way to get people to sign up. I've also posted an ad for this event in the Democrat and on other websites. I would encourage any captains who've volunteered to sign up using the NFGFC sign-up sheet ...we need this information for the database and it would be a huge help to have each captain's information. We really need contact information for every captain...

http://www.nfgfc.org/hha/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks a ton guys! We need more volunteers though!!!

Here is the updated Captain's list.

Captains
1) CC and Skip
2) JT51
3) Otto B Fishin
4) JonBoat
5) Steve Stinson
6) Mook (and Mojo?)
7) Capt. Charlie
8 - Bad Behavior
9) CatchYourLimit and Capt. Tom
10) Capt. Reggie and Tommy
11) Sir Reel
12) Mudducker

Mates
1) Salty Tiger
2) GaJoey

The HHA Event is right around the corner...only two weeks left to go. WE STILL NEED MORE CAPTAINS!!! Help us out and volunteer...it's for a good cause and you have the opportunity to make someone's year.

To all the captains that have volunteered, I need your contact information so that I can get in touch with you to tell you details. Please email me at tcaseycook@gmail.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or call me on my cellphone at 850.445.8523.

Thanks!
Casey

For those worried about not having any fun - think again! It's a hoot.

Just make sure you have plenty of open water when you let your visually impaired HHA drive the boat :)

So far, I am looking good to go. I will need a mate. My boat is at Cape San Blas. Where are most folks fishing out of?

MD,

Most folks are fishing out of St. Marks, but transportation is available to drive the anglers other places. CSB is a long ways to drive, but I'll talk with the folks at the Florida Disabled Outdoors Association and see if they can make it happen!

I'm meeting with them today at lunch to do the pairings so everyone who has volunteered will find out details within the next couple days.

Thanks for all y'alls help!

No, I'm not going to make them drive to CSB. I called Troutfisher yesterday to see if I could get him and his boat to help and go out of Ecky, but if not, I'll go get my boat and bring it to St. Marks.
