July Meeting on the 3rd

Hello to all, been busy landing a new job for next school year and getting things lined up to start grad school next week. But enjoyed seeing and fishing with everyone at PSJ for the tourney. Went fishing with Dad in St. Augustine last weekend but nothing grand to report. Anyways I was wondering the July meeting is scheduled for the 3rd but the tourney is the 12th. Is there a particular reason why the meeting is going to be on the 3rd? I know it is the first Thursday but I am sure many people will be heading out of town on the 3rd.

RCG, I'm pretty sure that meeting should be on the 10th with the tourney on the 12th. I believe its a typo and I'm sure TK is rushing to fix the mistake.

I don't believe the powers that be ever told me to make the meeting the 10th.

Seems I remember it being decided but I could be wrong. What say you and I just make it happen?

Makes sense to be on the 10th rather than the 3rd to me… but RCB thinks I am crazy and over analyze things.

Seems to me that the meeting date was OK.
The Saturday following the meeting was the 4th of July weekend.
We did not want to intefere with the members plans for the 4th.
We set the tourney the following weekend.
If enough members disagree and want the tourney the weekend of the 4th 5th etc.....the tournament director could change it.

JULY North Florida Gulf Fishing Club meeting is JULY 3.
July NFGFC tournament is JULY 12.
