Good news !!!!!!!!! We got the word that DeeDee will be released from the Hospital Saturday !!! This is a big step forward for her...She will obviously have lots and lots of rehab and therapy to come. Her status as of now is no weight bearing on the right leg and arm for another 6 - 8 weeks. So between now and then, some difficult mobility. Hey, this is much better than things looked in the begining so we're happy...thanks again for all the prayers sent.

oh yeah, in the mean time, they did move her from room 352 to room 354....

Four weeks have passed and finally DeeDee's home. It's great to have her home and now we start leaning how to manage on a day to day basis. We did grill the hotdogs that we had planned to grill the night of the accident...A month late but still good...I just finished reading her this thread from begining to end. We shared some laughs and some tears while reading it, and again, she is very appreciative of the members of BBF.net. You are a classy bunch !!! :thumbup:
