PSJ Bay

Post by Bow'd Up »

We'll be staying at a condo in Mexico Beach this weekend and taking Bow'd Up to do a little fishin in PSJ bay. My tourney experience this year was.........well.........sucky. I will have 2 youngsters on the boat, Li'l Bow'd and his cousin. Any advice on where to put these up and coming fishermen on some trouts. No numbers needed just some reasonable areas to catch some fish.......

Where you got in behind me and CT is a great place to start!! Also where you were when I gave you the flyby.

Start between Black's Island and the Micro Tower over on the west side. You generally can't go wrong there. Use corks and jigheads on 15"-18" of leader. Use your favorite grub body. Neon Mercury in the Sea Shad used to be the shizzle.

Pig Island channel. Reds were thick on the edges two weeks ago. There were also guides fishing for trout there.
