SOLD - Back Country 169 Ghost

Post by Chalk »

Before all the questions get asked - I have been wanting another boat for awhile now...I have had two great boats slipped through my fingers in the past 6 months, one was bought by Reel Slow  . I have to sell this one to get another one, it won't sell unless it's for sale, so it's for sale :-D

For Sale - 2001 Back Country Ghost 169
Price - $10,5000 obo
2001 Float On Aluminum Trailer
2001 Yamaha 90 hp 2 stroke outboard
New Minn Kota 24 Volt trolling motor w/ compact mount & removable plate
2 Optima Blue Top batteries
New cranking battery
New Garmin Fish Finder
New amber LED cockpit lights
Standard Horizon VHF w/ METZ Antenna
4 Inch Bob’s Hydraulic Jack Plate
13 1/4 x 15 Flat IV Stainless 4 blade prop & Spare Alum. 3 blade prop
Extra set of Carlisle tires for the trailer

Forward casting platform and stiffy hybrid push pole are available for an additional cost.

Plenty of Storage in the front hatch, a rear bait well and a release well that are plumbed with separate high-speed pickups and recirculating pumps. Automatic bilge pump with a manual over ride switch on console.

The boat is a great all around flats boat that will float in 8 inches of water and handle a good chop when crossing a bay. You will not find a more rounded flats fishing machine for the money. Boat has a pocket drive tunnel along with the jack plate will allow you to get up in less than a foot of water. It is a fish-catching machine, hate to see her go.

You will not find the 2001 Back Country Ghost listed in NADA, but the boat is titled as a 2001 Back Country Ghost 169. Back Country was bought by Genmar and was produced by Champion boats around 2000 to 2001. Ranger produced this same hull from 2004 through 2007 and discontinued it in 2008. Alot of tournament fisherman like this hull, it's a small boat with a big water attitude.

I don't think anyone could question that this rig has been put together by someone who knows how.

Chalk... for those of us who are mathmatically challenged, could you explain a bit more about the
separate high-speed pickups and recalculating pumps.
As far as price,.... I guess it's one of them If ya have to ask ya can't afford it ... deals :-D Good luck , somebody will get a nice outfit.

It's been on the boat since I have had it....seems to help with hole shot and it funnels water around the prop to keep the water pressure up as well.
