silly question

silly question, i'm sure but here goes... i'm going to East Bank in Georgia camping and i want to take the boat. what's the deal, about fishing license ? if you are out of state. how much are they ? where should i get them ?

Google "Georgia fishing license"

I think they sell week long or year long out of state license. My year non-ressident fresh water license was $24. 7 day nonresident might be ~ $7? You can purchase them on line.

They are cheap in Georgia. I got a year.

Also in Georgia you only need 1 license for Fresh and Salt water. At least I hope so, that has been my way of thinking for 31 years! Ha

Georgia does not mention a saltwater license on their site just a fishing license.

Georgia Fishing Licenses & Fees
Sportsman's License (includes these licenses: Fishing, Trout, Wildlife Management Area, Hunting, Big game, Primitive weapons, and Waterfowl Conservation licenses and H.I.P permit. It does not include the Federal duck stamp):

Resident - $60.00
Non-resident - not available
Regular Fishing License:
Resident - $9.00
Non-resident - $24.00 (season) $7.00 (7 day)
One-day:
Resident - $3.50
Non-resident - $3.50
Trout:
Resident - $5.00
Non-resident - $13.00
Combination Fishing & Hunting:
Resident - $17.00
Non-resident - not available
Wildlife Management Area (WMA):
Resident - $19.00
Non-resident - $73.00
