New SGI boat ramp

Capt. Ron -- where is the new ramp?

This is great news -- but they sure need more than a dozen parking spaces.

This could be a very popular ramp.

Its to the left of the bridge as you come on the island. Its on the point where the pier/old bridge.

I was glad to hear about the new ramp but real surprised about the lack of planning that seems to have gone into it. With the regular oyster boats and pleasure boaters that ramp won't be anything but a trip across the bridge for a lot of fishermen. Did SGI fund it or Franklin County?
