Aucilla 6/1

Post by creech »

LuckySOB & I left Thomasville this morning about 10 minutes till 6. Boat in the water a little after 7. We started creeping out of the mouth to the east working some hard bottom and oyster bars. We some a lot of bait being chased and blown up on. :D We were both throwing top water and were getting hits about every cast. I think we found the nursery. LuckySOB put the first fish in the boat then I followed up with this little guy.

We manged 6 or 8 of his twins. LuckySOB switched to a suspended bait and I think it was the first cast got this 25.5" pig. :smt103

We both manged a few more short trout and a red or two before moving west. We found some gin clear water about 3-4 feet with good grass and a sh*t pill of scallops. I caught a few more short trout and a nice 19"er. Both of us had to be back early so we head back to the hill around 11:00. Most of the fish were caught in 2' or less on top water.

Jared, I had a great morning and can't wait until next time.
