Keaton Beach 5-31-08 (late report)

Post by Quality Time »

Headed to Keaton Sat. morning..Took my dad fishing. It was hot, and the fish were slow. We headed north around Adams Beach and did nothing. Decided to go South since we have had better luck that way, and I think everyone else had the same idea. From the birdrack, piney island to grassy island boats were on top of each other. We only had a few hours to fish due to a dance recital for my daughter back in Camilla. After a short 4 hour trip, we ended the day with three keepers, one 19.5, one 19" and one 18". All in all a good day on the water with my dad. :D

I was there Sat. with the wife, had pretty much the same day. A lot of boats and water rough. And trout bite very slow, although the trashy fish seemed to bite real good. Glad ya got out. :smt004

A day spent with your dad is indeed Quality Time. It isn't always about catching. I wish I could take my dad.
What was I supposed to do today?
