NFGFC MEETING NOTES

Post by Sir reel »

Did somebody forget to wake up Birddog when the speaker was up last night..... I figured he'd want to share how to catch a flounder on a gold spoon.

Somebody bring the rest of us up to speed on the information that was shared.

I'm glad someone started this thread-
I had a great time last night- Its always hard for me to get to the tourney's- people shoppin for homes on Saturdays.
But the meetings are great- Good info and fellowship- not to mentions good giveaways!

JT- you and the crew are doing a great job!

Bud, the meeting recap and pictures will be posted sometime in the next few hours. A little thing called "work" has gotten in the way of writing the NFGFC meeting summary...

 Gerald (TallyFly) and I really enjoyed the meeting last night as it has been a few months since we have attended! Great show & tell on the flounder info - I liked the black majic marker & Carolina rig fished SLOWWWW. :lick: In fact, we are headed out to fish the Aucilla Sunday...maybe some flounder will be left over from the tournament trail (I have to attend a wedding tomorrow or we might have joined ya'll). They will be a next time. You folks have a good time! Good to see so many friendly faces @ the meeting - WOW, what a crowd!

How many hours are in "a few hours".?

I will tell you we had 74 fishing interested folks at the meeting.
We had a very informative speaker, Mr. Larry Sanders telling us about flounder.
I learned enough to build my confidence in targetimg flounder.
We had a new P.A. system so that everyone that can hear could hear what was said.
I will let CaseyCook tell you about the rest of it "in a few hours".

Excellent talk on flounder - thanks to Larry - good job!  ...I went fishing today, caught a real nice flounder. It bit me. It drew blood. It was awesome. I ate it. :lick:

I'll post the pics in a few hours.
