June 7 - NFGFC tourney - St. Marks

Post by Reel Country »

After reading all the other reports, thought I'd post our measely report.
Parker, my little girl, and I pulled out of the Lighthouse around 6:20. Headed east to where we hammered the trout a couple weeks ago. Nothing doing with topwater. Too much grass. Parker was catching them on the Gulps slowed retrieved in 4'. Put a couple keepers in the livewell hoping to find a few more of their friends. Nothing doing.
As the day got hotter, Parker suggested a swim and lunch. We fished a little more and then Parker was ready to come home, so to the Lighthouse we went. lookin forward to the July tournament with a new plan.

You can't beat fishing with the young'uns! They'll appreciate having a dad that introduced them to the outdoors when they get older! Keep it up!
Boom goes the dynamite.
