June 7, 2008 NFGFC Tournament Results

Post by tin can »

Wow! 66 People, in 28 boats participated in the June 7 tournament, held out of Jerry's Bait & Tackle (thanks Theresa and crew). To the best of my knowledge, this is the most participation we've ever had in an NFGFC tournament.

Congratulations to the Taylor boys and Junior Dice on the win. They also won the redfish pot with a fat 7.45 pound red. Keith Waldrep and Bobby Ryan took home big trout honors. No one weighed in a cobia to claim the Badcock & More Mystery Fish prize money(thanks Jay Evans), so it will roll over to next month. Next month's mystery fish will be worth $200.

Lots of folks there yesterday.
I want to thank everyone who participated and hope everyone had fun.
It was a difficult day for catching, but a good day for fishing.

Thanks for all of your hard work John. The catching was rough for most everybody but I think we all had a good time.

He wasn't hired. He called us and asked if he could go. He knew we were going to fish Carrabelle. He had never fished there before and wanted to see what it was like.

He now likes Carrabelle. He just kept wishing there were rocks there.

Congrats to all the winners and to all club members for such a large turnout! TC, I really enjoyed fishing aboard The Can. Sorry we couldn't do any better, but some days are like that. I look forward to doing it again soon!
