Lake Hall - late report

Post by Terrier »

I fished last Sunday morning and ended up with a lot of dink bass along with a few keepers. I did manage 5 specks on the fly rod, along with a bream or two. I lost a nice bass on the fly rod, about 3 lbs - he gave me a head shake close to the boat and got off. An olive over chartreuse clouser is as effective as a fluke on Lake Hall along the weed line. Still need the T-Rig and senko though!

The specks weren't too deep - they were coming up to about 3 - 5' to take the fly (I was using a sink tip line). They shut down after about 10:00.
