MY FRIEND ROY, TOOK ME OVER TO A PRIVATE POND THIS MORNING ABOUT 5:30, ABOUT 2 HOURS AFTER WE HAD LAUNCHED THE BOAT WE HAD CAUGHT 20 BLACK BASS FROM 2-3#, NICE AND COOL AND WE DIDN'T BURN OVER A GALLON OF GAS TO GET THERE AND BACK HOME. CAUGHT MOST OF THEM ON BABY TORPEDO AND OTHER TOPWATER BATES. I FOUND OUT SOMETHING I DID NOT KNOW BEFORE, TRIED WORKING A BUZZ BATE UNDERWATER AND IT WORKS , CAUGHT THE LARGEST FISH LIKE THIS. HAD A GREAT TIME ROY, LETS GO AGAIN IN THE MORNING.

Good trip, Pa. I was catching a lot of big bass on a baby torpedo a few weeks ago, then it got hot and the fish didn't bite as well. Maybe I need to go earlier now.
YEA DIXIE, THE FISH WE CAUGHT ON TOP WATER WAS ALL BEFORE THE SUN GOT UP. AFTER SUN UP WE STARTED CATCHING THEM ON THE SPINNER AND BUZZ BATES REELED IN SLOW.
