6-14 Econfina - It's gotta be a record!!

HA! made ya look :-D

Headed out from the ramp about 8am, found some nice water south southeast of the tripod. Water was crystal clear toward rock island. We picked up a few trout here and there but it was slow most of the day. We moved around quite a bit trying to find a hot bite but nothing to brag about. Ended the day about 3pm just before the downpour hit. Maybe caught 15 trout or so total but managed 2 limits and a lone blue fish and the record you see above. All fish on gulp.

BB I saw you at the dock loading was waiting to see that sweet Triton of yours but I didn't recognize the boat behind your truck. Looked like Mr. Cook maybe? I was the guy with the goofy look on his face wondering how I get a truck and a boat like that.

Even without a non stop bite the day was perfect. God's pond always brings me needed relaxation whether I catch a fish or not. Thank you Lord!

Actually Futch the camera angle must have fooled ya, the pig trout in the lineup is a whopping 18" if I pinch the tail hard. But they were darn good eatin' last night with some cheese grits and fries. :lick: :lick:

I apologize for not stopping. Had my head ion my azz trying to get out of there before the storms!! We were actually in a hurry trying to get to St Marks. We were fishing on SeaSpots boat. Casey wont fish with me :smt010. That was Sea Spot with me. Glad yall caught em up. We stayed in shallow all day so we didnt do much!! I did catch another 6 lb trout according to my Berkley scale but I was guessing more around 5 or 5.5lbs. Waiting on the report from SS and Ill post the pics of that trout. Great day on the water and next time holla at me!! I heard you ask me if that was the new one but it didnt really hit me until We had pulled off. Glad ya'll got into em!!

Don't do it BB, all he wants to do is catch trout, he will yell at you if you catch a redfish, and don't even think about looking at a cobia (I'm sorry, a trashy catfish on steroids).
