My First report 6/16/08 St Marks
We put in around 6am this morning at the fort.. netted some mullet and bought some live shrimp and headed to the mouth of the river. We were about 1-2 miles off the coast near the lighthouse. the trout were biting like crazy they just didnt seem to want to hit anything just nibble on our bait..I thought the pinfish were the ones biting the bait but finally hooked into a 20" trout..we limited on trout 2 17" trout and 2 20"(2 bag limite per person right?) and about 7 between 14-16 on a mix of live shrimp and cutbait.. caught a few baby black tips and 2 three footers.. overall i couldnt of asked for a nicer day it was like glass untill 1pm..went up wakulla river for a dip then back home at 2:30..
