Brian scored first trout of the day

First shark
We decided to move west as weather to the east seemed to be threatening again, fished and got a short on top water, but nothing as the tide hit the high mark, and the wind died. nothing for about an hour, so we headed west towards the channel. There we found a sand bar filled with birds, as always look for the birds. Tide started moving out, and wind and a few sprinkles later, we hit the feeding frenzy, and Troutinator strikes first with a 22" on the first couple of casts.

then Brian not to be outdone, hits his first keeper.

After loads of fun for 30 minutes, the bite died off, and weather to the east was looking wetter, but moving north, the bite started again, several shorts, ladyfish, and a couple more sharks, keeping us busy. As we turned and looked west the skies were moving in on us. Decided to be safe and head in and just as we got loaded and into the truck, Automatic Boat Washing from Mother Nature.
Final keepers of the day.

Great to start posting successful days out, as the learning continues. All in all it was a great day on the water with a near Tarpon experience and getting on some fish, to have a great, Great Father's Day!!!
Happy Father's Day to All you Fathers out there. I love and miss you Dad!!!!
